Whyalla was producing the rails for the Alice Springs to Darwin railway.

Even back then sporting clubs were talking about co-locating.

Still a problem today.

2001 was also the year of the 9/11 attacks. Although for once my predictions proved wrong. It wasn’t long before poor old New York was again being devastated in movies such as THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW and I AM LEGEND.
